Meet Devyn

Exmouth, Western Australia based photographer and creative digital artist. Devyn Brown has been honing her skills in Boudoir Photography for the past several years. Prior to photography and being creative with digital art, she was an Active Duty military member in the United States Air Force. Weirdly enough, she was actually in the medical field. With some… unfortunate events that happened to her while serving, causing her to fall into depression and hating her body, she decided she was going to no longer let that affect her. She decided to blend her love of photography with self-love and self-worth, and there, her fulfilling journey and love of Boudoir Photography began. Brown is currently pursuing her love and passion for boudoir into a professional reality with her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Photography from Arizona State University. She is projected to graduate in June of 2025.

Brown’s love of Boudoir Photography has allowed her to introduce another element into all of this… Creative Digital Art. Her use of body, loving, and positivity has allowed Brown to start challenging herself to create digital masterpieces using her Boudoir - utilizing women’s beauty to tell stories of what once might have been a depressing issue to something to live for and show what true strength really is.

Devyn’s Statement

My love for photography started so long ago that it’s hard to even remember exactly when. I can tell you, I have always had a camera in my hand though. I like to think of myself as a true creative at the center of my heart. I have this passion for Boudoir Photography and Creative Digital Art because what I aim for, is I want you to see you the way that I see you. I know your deep down struggles with self-worth and self-love, I know this because I have been there and lived through that. I had no idea how powerful boudoir was until I had them personally done. I didn’t think my body was perfect enough yet, I thought I could lose some more weight before I had them done… Mind you, I had my youngest daughter maybe two months before I had them done… if that long.

I enjoy nothing more in this world than showing a woman who is dealing with self-love and self-worth issues how insanely beautiful she really is! The magic that I can say I have gotten to experience in this journey is being able to witness women of all ages, shapes, and sizes being able to find that piece of themselves that they think has been missing for years or even finding that beautiful side of themselves that didn’t even know existed all this time. I do this because I believe this type of photography and creative art can be a life changing experience (it was for me) that every woman should have the opportunity to experience. Not after you lost those “last couple pounds” or waiting to have someone to give it to… but to do it RIGHT NOW. I promise you, YOU ARE ENOUGH. If you don’t think you are… LET ME SHOW YOU!
